An effort to draw almost daily, perhaps averaging a drawing a day, sharing what I find out via my drawing, and moving into painting insights resulting from drawing more.
I like the way my neighbours' house mimics the shape of the much larger house beside it, and I enjoy the changing shadows and skies behind all year round.
Yes - I can imagine an owl finding the dark spot in the tree and a mouse in the wood shed. The dark darks are distributed just evenly enough throughout this drawing to make the rest even more delicately white and cold. I can almost smell the fresh nippy air.
